Initializing the TSC-DECT adapter
Once the TSC-DECT adapter has been installed, the TSC-DECT is initialized at power-up according to the following sequence:
The TSC-DECT adapter runs a self-test, self-test OK.
It authorizes manual uninstallation for 10 seconds, and starts the DECT section of its software.
The TSC-DECT adapter automatically attempts installation if no uninstallation is requested and if its memory contains no data (either because it has not yet been installed, or because it has been uninstalled). The TSC-DECT adapter installation procedure must be enabled on the PCX in order to supervise its installation and check coherence.
When installation is complete, the TSC-DECT adapter carries out its own attachment to the new area in the coverage area in which it is located and becomes fully operational.
From this time, the TSC-DECT adapter is ready to support the UA set. On detection of the UA set, the TSC-DECT adapter performs the following:
Ensures the UA link is maintained (checks every ten seconds that the UA set is still connected and informs the PCX of its presence).
Implements its software and acts as gateway for the UA set.
For installation of the TSC-DECT adapter, refer to § "Installation (recognition of the TSC-DECT adapter by the system)". For uninstallation, refer to § "Uninstalling the TSC-DECT adapter".
Uninstalling the TSC-DECT adapter
You may need to move a TSC-DECT adapter and install it on another system (PARI). To perform the new registration, all data in its memory and the data concerning it on the PCX must be erased:
There are two methods of doing this:
On the PCX, run the dectrm <Directory No.> command; the data will be erased:
On the PCX: IPUI-O.
On the TSC-DECT adapter: PARK, PLI, LAL, and IPUIO-O. If the TSC-DECT adapter is not in the PCX coverage area at this time, it cannot be reached and its memory cannot be erased. Manual uninstallation must be carried out later on the TSC-DECT only, from the UA set.
On a UA set connected to the TSC-DECT adapter: irrespective of the location, a command can be executed (the UA set must have a display) to reset the memory of the TSC-DECT adapter without updating the PCX data.
Connect the UA set to the TSC-DECT adapter.
Power up the TSC-DECT adapter. The LED flashes (0.2s ON, 1s OFF) if the set is outside the coverage are or not recognized by the system.
Enter the code *#*86734#*# (this number corresponds to the letter UNREG on the keypad) within 10 seconds for the 1st digit. No character is displayed on the screen.
Remark: With 4004 sets, pick up the receiver (unhook).
If you:
Make a mistake when entering the data, the operation is ignored and the TSC-DECT adapter returns to its normal state. Repeat the procedure from the start.
Enter the data correctly, the data in the TSC-DECT adapter memory is erased. After the command has been entered, the flashing LED sequence changes (1s ON, 0.2s OFF).
When this procedure is performed, the TSC-DECT adapter does not immediately request its reinstallation. This will be performed at the next power-up (to avoid reinstallation on the same DECT system).

Anything's possible. Keep thinking.
